Over 1,700 people recover from COVID-19 in Kazakhstan
NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM – 1,758 people made full recoveries from the coronavirus infection in Kazakhstan in the past day, Kazinform has learnt from coronavirus2020.kz.
The highest number of COVID-19 recoveries was recorded in the Kazakh capital, Nur-Sultan – 444. Coming in second is Almaty city with 201 COVID-19 recoveries. Karaganda region is ranked third with 196 people who beat novel coronavirus. Atyrau region is fourth with 195 recoveries from the coronavirus infection.
121 people fully recovered from COVID-19 in Akmola region, 118 – in Almaty region, 109 – in Mangistau region, 93 – in West Kazakhstan region, 74 – in Shymkent city, 56 – in East Kazakhstan region, 54 – in North Kazakhstan region, 42 – in Pavlodar region, 35 – in Kyzylorda region, 14 – in Turkestan region, and 6 – in Kostanay region.
Nationwide, the number of COVID-19 recoveries has totaled 280,342 since the onset of the pandemic.
