International Energy Saving Day is marked each year on November 11 since 2008, when the international SPARE (School Project for Application for Resourses and Energy) network initiated it during the meeting held in Kazakhstan to draw attention to the importance of saving energy. The international day aims at raising awareness among public on rational use of energy sources and developing renewable energy sources.
Singles' Day takes place on November 11 also known as an online shopping event.
1996 – The Suleimenov Institute of Oriental Studies is opened at the Sadvakasov Institute of Uighur Studies and Suleimenov Center for Oriental Studies.
2006 – The mausoleum to the Kazakh poet, thinker, historian, ethnographer, orientalist, as well as collector of the oral people’s works of Kazakh people Zhusip Kopeev is unveiled in Baiyanaulsk district, Pavlodar region.
2011 - Almaty city hosts the opening ceremony of the monumental and sculptural composition Kazakhstan at the First Kazakh President Park.
2014 – The 4-series feature film about the Kazakh hero Kassym Kaisenov shot by Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine receives the international award.
2015 – Kazakhstan completes work on the film Kazakh Khanate – 550 years produced in Kazakh, Russian, and English.
2015 – Astana city now Nur-Sultan hosts the first session of the Astana Club, focusing on the key issues of the development of the Eurasian region.
2018 – The country stand Travel to Kazakhstan is unveiled in Greece’s Thessaloniki as part of the tourist exhibition Philoxenia.
2019 – The Epigraphic Museum of Athens (Greece) holds the Great Steppe: History and Culture exhibition as part of the international exhibition project Precession of the Golden Man through World Museums.
