Earthquake hits southwest of Almaty
ALMATY. KAZINFORM – An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the MPV scale has been recorded southwest of Almaty city, Kazinform reports.
The epicenter of the quake was located in the territory of Tajikistan, 649 km southwest of Almaty city.
The quake hit at a depth of 10 km at 11:42 am Almaty time.
