COVID-19: Kazakhstan adds over 450 new cases
NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM – Over 450 new cases of the coronavirus infection have been detected in Kazakhstan over the past 24 hours, a 3% increase compared to Thursday, Kazinform has learnt from coronavirus2020.kz.
In total, 474 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Kazakhstan, including 103 in Nur-Sultan, 57 in Karaganda region, 41 in Almaty city, 37 in Shymkent city, 35 in East Kazakhstan region, 32 in Turkestan region, 29 in Zhambyl region, 28 in West Kazakhstan region, 27 in Aktobe region, 20 in Akmola region, 17 in Atyrau region, 12 in North Kazakhstan region, 11 in Kostanay region, 9 in Almaty region, and 5 in Mangistau region.
The new cases added to the overall caseload have brought the total number of COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan to 16,351. 10,139 people have been released after full recovery from the coronavirus infection. The novel virus has killed 105 people in Kazakhstan so far.
