2009 – An unveiling ceremony of Kazakh-Japanese exhibition «No to nuclear weapons» is held at the UN headquarters in New York. The exposition is divided into two sections and dedicated to the decades of nuclear tests at the Semipalatinsk testing site and detonation of nuclear weapons in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

2010 – The Embassy of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia translates into Arabic and publishes a book penned by First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev «Strategy of dramatic renewal of global community and partnership of civilizations».

2017 – Kazakhstani judoka Nurzat Salimbayev clinches silver at the World Judo Cadet Championships in Santiago, Chile in -60kg weight category. That year the championship brought together 428 judokas from 64 countries.

2018 – The Kuryk Sea Port is unveiled in Mangistau region.

2018 – Kazakhstan takes on the chairmanship in the Tourism Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
