1928 – The first Russian issue of youth newspaper Leninskaya smena now known as Express K is published in the city of Kyzylorda.
1937 – The Zoological Park is opened in Almaty city, which has more than 3,000 animals and over 500 spices of avifauna.
1947 – The Ust-Kamenogorsk Zinc Plant (now the Lead and Zinc Enterprise) is put into operation.
2005 – The piece of ancient script is found by archeologists in Ordabasy district, which is dated back to the 1st-6th centuries AD. The clay tablet was found by a group of archeologists from the Miras University in the settlement in the Kylymzhar area of the Arys reiver valley. There have been 15 symbols written in four lines on the tablet.
2012 – The borders of Almaty city are adjusted by adding parts of Almaty region, including Karasay and Talgar districts.
2013 – The e-hostory.kz website publishing about the history of Kazakhstan is launched.
2013 – The first issue of the Mangi el magazine also aimed to reach the world audience comes out.
2015 – The National Achieve of Kazakhstan hosts the opening of the exhibition of archival documents called Mustafa Shokay: Alash arysy to mark the 125th anniversary of the Kazakh statesman and public figure, thinker, scholar Mustafa Shokay. The originals and copies of archival documents about the activities of Mustafa Shokay brought from the archives, libraries and research centers of Armenia, Hungary, Egypt, Iran, Poland, Russia, the USA, Turkey, Uzbekistan, France as well as kept in the National Achieve of Kazakhstan and private funds of prominent public figures were on display.
2019 – Kazakhstan is for the first time nominated for the ICAO Council President Certificate at the anniversary Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization in Montreal, Canada.
