The Supreme Council of the Kazakh SSR was elected for the first time in 1938 in line with the Kazakh SSR Constitution, adopted on March 26, 1937.

The Almaty Circus staff was formed in 1970. The first performance of the Almaty Circus was held on June 24, 1970 in Samara.

In 1992, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan signed the friendship, cooperation and mutual assistance treaty in Turkestan.

The monument to First President of Kazakhstan, Leader of the Nation Nursultan Nazarbayev was unveiled in 2010 in Ankara, Turkey.

OSCE current problems. Contours of Kazakhstan's chairmanship book was released in Minsk in 2010. It is a result of cooperation of scientists of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Poland, Germany, Ukraine, and Estonia who explored the OSCE problems.

Kazakhstan and Fiji agreed on signing the agreement on cancellation of visa requirements for holders of all kinds of passports in 2014.

The session of the Council of Heads of State of SCO member states in a narrow format was held in Tashkent in 2016 . Presidents of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Tajikistan, and Russia participated in it. The signing of the Tashkent Declaration crowned the meeting.

Kazakhstani Moldir Mekenbayeva won two gold medals in jiu jitsu in Women's 55kg weight class at the Los Angeles Open in 2018.
