OSCE Special Representative and Coordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings Madina

JARBUSSYNOVA was born in 1954 in Almaty. She is a graduate of the Almaty Pedagogic Institute of Foreign Languages, the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the University named after Dinmukhamed Kunayev.

Madina Jarbussynova has had an extensive career in diplomatic relations since joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan in 1995. She was appointed as the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs in 1998. From 1999 to 2003 she served as Kazakhstan’s Permanent Representative at the United Nations. She was Ambassador-at-Large for Kazakhstan from 2009-2011. From 2012 to 2014 she held the post as the OSCE Project Coordinator in Ukraine.

She took up the recent post in September 2014.

Majilis Deputy Maira AISINA was born in 1956 in Kokshetau region. She is a graduate of the Karaganda State University, the Almaty Institute of Political Science and Management, and KAZGUU.

Throughout her professional career Ms Aisina held various posts. She served as the Vice Minister of Education and Science from 2005 to 2006. In 2007 she joined the lower chamber of the Kazakh Parliament, Majilis, as the deputy of the 4^th convocation. Apart from being the MP she also happens to be a member of the Committee for Economic Reform and Regional Development.

Talgat MAKHANOV was born in 1976. He is a graduate of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics. He was appointed to his recent post in June 2018.
