In 1999, the Monument to Karasai Batyr and Agyntai Batyr, great heroes of the Kazakh people, was unveiled in Petropavlovsk, North Kazakhstan region.

In 2010, the Central Exhibition Hall in Almaty hosted a photo exhibition in honor of World Refugee Day. It was timed to Kazakhstan's OSCE Chairmanship and the 60th Anniversary of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.

Kazakhstan: The Gateway to Europe video was a winner at the 32nd Annual Telly Awards in 2011.

In 2013, the book First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. Global Leader was published in the Turkish language. It contains unique articles and essays revealing the history of Kazakhstan's development through the eyes of Turkish statesmen and academicians.

In 2014, the Great Silk Road became one of the World Heritage Sites listed by UNESCO. The first joint application of Kazakhstan, China, and Kyrgyzstan was approved at the 38th Session of the World Heritage Committee in Doha, Qatar.

The end of the negotiations on Kazakhstan's accession to the World Trade Organization was officially announced during the final meeting of the Working Group in Geneva in 2015. Kazakhstan became the 162nd Member of the WTO. All major economies of the world recognized Kazakhstan as a country with a favorable investment climate that pursues the trade policy compatible with the norms of international law.

Silicon Valley Corner was unveiled last year at the Astana Expo 2017 International Specialized Exhibition.
