The Akmola regional Kazakh congress took place in Omsk in 1917 with 250 representatives taking place in it.

In 1921 Kapalsky district was renamed as Taldykorgan district with a centre in Gavrilovka village.

In 2001 the Kazakh Football Union joined the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) at the Stockholm Congress.

The book by Srym Bukeikhanov in Kazakh and Russian about Alikhan Bukeikhanov, Smagul Sadvokasov, Shakarim Kudaiberdiyev, Yelizaveta Bukeikhanova-Sadvokasova and their descendants was published in 2005 in Almaty.
